  • The company has a sophisticated infrastructure, which is spread over a plot area of 5230 sq. meter with plant area of 1334 sq. meter. This unit is equipped with all the modern equipment and machinery that aid us in delivering a flawless range of Four Wheeler Leaf Springs to the clients across India on timely basis. We Kartikay Springs uses best of the technology across India in the manufacturing of Leaf Springs. The manufacturing process and the technique carried out at our Works is detailed below. Leaf Springs are sized to the required lengths, they are subjected to various processes like punching, end cropping, taper rolling, and so on
    he leaves of Spring leaf are then fed again in the end heating furnace for eye rolling. We have an automated eye rolling and lab cutting machine for the main, second and other leaves. The spring leaves are then fed into a furnace with automatic temperature controls where they are heated to the critical temperature depending upon the grade of the material used (Our manufacturing facility has multiple heat treat lines).
  • After this the spring leaves are placed in automatic heated 7.4 mtr of furnance with automatic control of temprature as required depending upon its quality of spring steel. After passing through the furnance the leaves are taken out automaticaly and put in quenching oil bath.
  • The spring leaves are then fed into a tempering furnace in 7.6 mtr. length, passing through various temperature zones with automatic temperature controls, to relieve the stresses developed due to oil hardening. After tempering, the spring leaves are checked to ensure that they have attained the required hardness and tempered martensite structure.
  • Next, the spring leaves are passed through a shot penning machine, which induces a residual compressive stress on the surface, thereby increasing the fatigue life of the spring.
